Ajman Corniche is about 3 kilometres of sandy beach and a parallel promenade along the Gulf in Al Rashidiya. It is noticeably quieter than Dubai's beaches, with a calm, family feel. Cafés, shisha lounges and family restaurants line the road, many with sea-view terraces, and prices are well below Dubai's: a coffee and dessert is around AED 20-40, a main AED 60-120. The beach and promenade are free and open around the clock.

Tips

Evening and sunset are best; midday is hot with little shade. Bring cash — it is easier at the smaller cafés. Parking along the Corniche is free but fills up in the evening.
