The museum is built around historic Union House, where on 2 December 1971 the rulers of the seven emirates signed the UAE Constitution. Eight pavilions trace the road to union with interactive displays: photos and documents of the founding fathers, the original Constitution, early passports and the first national flag.
Tips
Allow 1.5–2 hours. Tickets booked online are cheaper than at the till. Pair it with a walk along Jumeirah Beach, five minutes away.
