- Address
- Khorfakkan, Sharjah East Coast
- Time to allow
- 240 min
What's special
- ★2 km of white sand
- ★Khorfakkan Amphitheatre
- ★12 m artificial waterfall
- ★Hajar Mountains backdrop
Khorfakkan's city beach on the Indian Ocean. 2 km of white sand, lifeguards, the palm-lined Corniche, a food court. Next door: the Khorfakkan Amphitheatre (open-air, 3,500 seats, concerts and light shows), a 12 m artificial waterfall and a working harbour. Similar feel to Al Aqah but Sharjah-side — the Hajar peaks set further back.
Tips
90 min from Dubai via the new Khor Fakkan Road through the mountains — the drive is itself a sight (tunnels, lookouts). Free sunbeds and showers on the beach. Pair with Al Rafisah Dam (8 min) or Al Aqah (Fujairah, 10 min).
