Reopened in 2024 as J1 Beach, the former La Mer now hosts 13 world-class restaurant-clubs (Gigi Rigolatto, Bâoli, Twiggy, Ammos, Sirene by Atlantis) along a 1.6 km strip. A free public beach with lifeguards and showers sits between them. The vibe is Saint-Tropez transplanted to Dubai.
Tips
Beach clubs need reservations (especially weekend brunch). The free section sits closer to the Sufouh end. Free parking is tight — opt for valet at a club or RTA street.
