Fine dining in Dubai 2026: Michelin restaurants and how to book

Dubai has had its own MICHELIN Guide since 2022. How fine dining differs from brunch, which restaurants are talked about, and how to get a table.

21 May 2026·8 min read

The short version

Since 2022 Dubai has had its own MICHELIN Guide: stars, Bib Gourmand and a Green Star for sustainability. Fine dining is not about brunch, it is about evening tasting menus, signature plating and wine pairings. Top tables are booked weeks ahead, the dress code is smart, and the average bill is well above an ordinary restaurant.

How it differs from brunch

  • Brunch is about volume, company and the weekend mood, covered in a .
  • Fine dining is about a multi-course tasting menu, quiet and service.
  • Alcohol and pairings are served, venues are licensed.

What is talked about

Stars and guide positions are updated yearly, so check the current MICHELIN Guide. Among the notable names over the years:

  • Trèsind Studio, a modern Indian tasting, one of the most decorated.
  • Ossiano (Atlantis), seafood by a panoramic .
  • STAY by Yannick Alléno, French classics.
  • Il Ristorante, Niko Romito (Bvlgari), Italian precision.
  • Avatāra, a vegetarian tasting.
  • At.mosphere (), dinner on the 122nd floor with a view.

Among famous but unstarred names at a consistently high level: Nobu, Zuma, COYA, Hakkasan.

Prices, a guide

  • Tasting menu: 600–1,200 AED per person
  • Top starred menus: 1,200–2,500 AED
  • Wine pairing: plus 400–900 AED

Prices and menus change by season, so we will confirm current rates and availability for your dates when booking.

Tip: for dinner with a view (At.mosphere, Downtown restaurants), take a slot 30–40 minutes before sunset, it costs no more but the sunset and the evening lights are far better.

How to get a table

  • Top restaurants, two to four weeks ahead, especially for weekends.
  • Ask for a specific area (by the window, by the kitchen, on the terrace).
  • The dress code is smart, shorts and beach footwear will not pass.

Local food from street eats to luxury is also covered in our . Send your dates, the occasion and any preferences, and we will book the table and suggest what to order.
