Eid Al-Adha is the year's main holiday, observed quietly and with family in the Emirates: morning prayer, shared breakfast, visits to elders, trips to the coast. This collection brings together only programmes appropriate for the holiday: visits to Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque and Qasr Al Watan with an Arabist guide, a dhow dinner in Marina, a walk through old Dubai and its canal, a trip to the northern emirates (Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah). No alcohol-driven yacht parties, no loud nightlife, no 40-person exit tours.
