Where to start

Dubai is a city where you can spend three days and not see half of it. But once you know what really matters each day and what you can skip, the programme builds itself.

The main rule: no more than two big activities per day in summer and three in winter. Between them — a break in an air-conditioned cafe, not 'we still have time'. An overheated family at Dubai Mall in August is the tourist's main mistake.

Below are three routes: a 3-day classic (must-see), a balanced 5-day (Dubai + Abu Dhabi) and a maximal 7-day (with Hatta and the northern emirates). Every slot links to a specific tour or attraction we actually book.

Dubai in 3 days — the classic

The minimum programme. Fits a weekend trip or a layover between cities. Only the must-see and one evening emotion (Burj fountain).

Day 2 — future and desert

Evening

Dubai and Abu Dhabi in 5 days

A balanced plan. One day in Abu Dhabi with the three main points, a private safari instead of group, a yacht ride and the final sunset at the Marina.

Day 2 — future and a private desert

Evening

Day 3 — Abu Dhabi and culture

Day 4 — water and waterpark

Evening

A full week in the UAE

Maximum depth. All emirates, Hatta mountains, helicopter tour, Louvre Abu Dhabi, night safari and a final yacht.

Day 3 — Abu Dhabi and culture

Day 4 — Louvre and yacht

Day 5 — Hatta, mountains and kayaking

Things to keep in mind

Book ahead. Burj Khalifa At The Top and Sheikh Zayed Mosque in Abu Dhabi are best booked 2-3 days out. Helicopter tour — a week, especially in winter.

Transport. Dubai to Abu Dhabi is 1.5 hours by car. By public transport E100/E101, about AED 25, but a hassle with kids. We arrange transfers along the route — message on Telegram, we'll set it up.

Dress code. Sheikh Zayed Mosque and Qasr Al Watan need long sleeves and long skirt or trousers. The mosque entrance hands out an abaya for free.

Friday prayer time. Most mosques are closed to tourists from 11:30 to 14:00. Sheikh Zayed Mosque — after 15:00.

What we adjust per client. If you have 4 days — we take the 5-day plan and drop day 4. If 6 — the 7-day without Hatta. If you arrived in Ramadan — desert and yacht in the day, culture in the evening after Iftar.
