Wintering in Dubai is easy: from November to April the weather is ideal, the infrastructure is developed, and there is a large Russian-speaking community. For a one to two month stay, settle four things: visa, monthly housing, money and internet. Rules change, so check current visa durations before you travel, with the basics in the .
Visa
- Russians get short-stay visa-free entry, and for wintering people usually extend it or do a visa run.
- There are separate visa options for long stays, so check the conditions in advance, they change.
Monthly housing
- Monthly rental of apartments and serviced flats is markedly cheaper than nightly.

Money and internet
- Russian bank cards do not work, so keep cash and a working foreign card, detailed in the .
