Dubai observation decks 2026: Burj Khalifa, Frame, View at Palm, Sky Views
Four major viewpoints compared. Which one to pick by budget, photos, and what kind of view you want.
The short version
Four observation decks in Dubai earn their entry fee. Burj Khalifa — classic, expensive, 360° views. Dubai Frame — cheap and contrasty (old town vs new). The View at Palm — the only place with the full Palm shot. Sky Views Observatory — the best side view of Burj Khalifa. Pick 1-2, not all four.
Burj Khalifa At The Top
The classic — "you haven't been to Dubai without it".
- At The Top, floors 124-125 — 169 AED adult
- At The Top SKY, floor 148 — 379 AED adult, refreshments included
- Sunset slot — 219-449 AED, prime-hour premium
- 555 m (SKY) and 452 m (At The Top)
Strong: 360° view, the feeling of being above the whole city. Burj Khalifa is the one tower from which you see the Gulf, the desert, and Sheikh Zayed Road at once. Sunset is a knockout.
Weak: crowds in high season, windows not perfectly clear, At The Top (124-125) sits below some hotel decks (Address Sky View 75th floor = 350 m), but the tower itself is the tallest.
Dubai Frame
A 150 m gold frame between Old and New Dubai. Quick lift to 150 m, transparent glass-floor bridge at the top, descent via a "Past Present Future" museum.
- 50 AED adult
- 45-60 minutes
- Glass floor — for thrill-seekers (some refuse to step on it)
Strong: contrast of Old Dubai (Deira, Bur Dubai) versus New Dubai from a single spot. Glass floor — great photo. A third of Burj Khalifa's price.
Weak: 150 m height, not "above everything". View only to north and south. Most reviews: "once is enough".
The View at Palm Jumeirah
Observation deck at 240 m, 52nd floor of The Palm Tower (Nakheel Mall, near Atlantis).
- 110 AED adult, premium 200+ with refreshments
- 30-45 minutes
- Sunset is prime
Strong: the only spot with the full Palm Jumeirah shot — fronds, trunk, Atlantis on the edge. Perfect for photos.
Weak: just the Palm and the coast, no Downtown view.
Sky Views Observatory (Address Sky View)
Floor 53 of Address Sky View in Downtown. Glass slide and Edge Walk options. Best side view of Burj Khalifa.
- Observatory 89 AED
- Glass Slide 109 AED
- Edge Walk 189 AED (balcony with no rail, on a harness)
Strong: Burj Khalifa at full height (from the tower itself you can't see your own building). Glass Slide — a fun glassed-tube descent from 53 to 52. Edge Walk — for the brave.
Weak: Downtown only — no Marina or Palm view.
What to pick
- First trip, one spot — Burj Khalifa At The Top sunset (book a week ahead)
- With kids — Dubai Frame, glass floor and museum hook them
- Honeymoon, Instagram photo — The View at Palm at sunset
- Thrill seekers — Sky Views Edge Walk
- Tight budget — Frame at 50 AED is 80 % of the experience for a third of the price
What's not worth it
- Burj Al Arab bars: expensive, 400+ AED minimum spend per person for "the view"
- Cavalli Lounge floor 53 — bar without observation, not for tourists
Tip: At The Top at sunset in high season needs booking 5-7 days out. Day-of slots are gone October to April.
